I have a large amount of Revell Fokker D.VIIs,and rather than scrap them all in favor of the Roden/MAC products, I'd like a word or two (or site/article/drawings) on how to change them to the various makers. I do have ONE Roseplane resin nose conversion for the most difficult, the OAW version, with those "bumpy" louvers. I also have Roden's D.VIIF, which looks to match the Revell issue in the nose (figures). I believe for the early Fokker, I would basically have to sand all the louvers off, and have the exhausts two stubs coming out of the top panel (simplistic view, I know). I've studied Osprey's Fokker D.VII aces, volume two as well the photos there, A friend has the D.VII datefile (I believe) if that has drawings, I could ask him.

Now all I have to do is lay in a supply of 4/5 colour lozenge decals (Why doesn't Eagle Strike/Pegsus/SOMEONE come out with a complete wing profile, including rib tapes as a decal. Laying out the decals as they did the real cloth is instructional, but I'd rather save the time, which is why I've been avoiding late model German aircraft).

Thanks so much and I hope everyone in the U.S. had a happy (AND SAFE) 4th of July.
