nondescript black. What I gleaned from that drawing was that in all
probabilities the cockpit was made up of steel sheets, with an internal
wooden structure similar to the Sopwith Snipe.< (D.)
There's a photos in Model Aircraftt monthly where you can see that the metal
side sheet is screwed from the outside. The top longeron is on the outside
of the sheet, the other wooden members are presumably inside - atleast, you
can see fixing heads (in this case it's too fuzzy to see if they're screws
or not) in the right place for the seat support, the bottom longeron, and
something at the front which may be to do with the insrument panel.
