[WWI] 1/35 or 1/32?

Being on the west coast of the U.S.A., I usually don't see a thread until it's pretty far along. Looks like the subject is pretty well covered.

1/35 is the main armor scale, but it doesn't have any crossover except for a few helicopters.
1/32 is still a relatively major car scale, enjoying a little revival now because of the surge in 1/32 slot cars. It is more popular in England ( I have a fair collection of sports car models in 1/32 ).
The figures that came with the old 1/32 car kits varied quite a bit in size. The largest I saw was literally twice the height of the smallest.
Airfix did Gen. Montgomery's Humber in 1/32. I don't remember seeing any other military vehicles in that scale unless you count the "Ole Bill" version of the 1910 bus.
Yes, thanks to Emhar, RPM and others, I can place a number of 1/72 OT vehicles next to airplanes. They tend to look small in comparison. This is the beauty of 1/72 - the king of scales.
Roden has also produced armor in 1/72, but nothing OT yet.
I would be sorely tempted by a WW I U-boat in 1/72. Revell did a couple of WW II "booten" in 1/72 and those are impressive.

                                                             J.R. Boye
