[WWI] Silver Dope

I haven't tried shading before painting with aluminium or silver. I know that you were told that this wouldn't be succesful. Did he say why this wouldn't work? Is it because of the metal in the paint?

dope, but just trying to find a way to differentiate between those parts of
the a/c where there is a slightly noticeable difference between those areas
where the doped fabric is over something solid, like the wooden areas of the
forward fuselage and turtledeck, and that of the framework of the fuselage.
