[WWI] A/G, what's next, if anything?

thinking further, and not wanting to stoke any false hopes, but i 
suppose one optimistic interpretation of his silence might be that he 
has another offer in progress...?   his complete silence and lack of 
response did seem strange to me, so i guess i'm casting about for a 
positive explanation.
