[WWI] All the Pretty Blue, was French Blue

Hey Matt,
Take a look at the tank behind the seat, it looks like a close match for the intermediate blue FS 35164 that matches the Americal decal colors, while the seat itself looks like the bright blue used on the Eduard decals. Are these colors correct? nd do they have anything to do with the colors of the insignia? Beats the hell out of me, but maybe both colors were used depending on what lot of paint came in that certain week at the Nieuport factory!

Memorial Flight has been updated
(http://memorial.flight.free.fr/indexuk.html for those who don't visit
the Links page on the site). LVG C.VI and (more importantly) Sopwith
Strutter areas have been updated. New cockpit shots, showing the garish
blue used as a primer. Cool!
