My father was taught by an old boy who survived Jutland how to build boats in bottles. Mt father built a number of boats, then decided on an FE2 and a Curtiss flying boat. I think it was the F boat. I have them both at home, well, the curtiss. The FE2 fell apart. My fathjer taught me to build boats in bottles, which is why I would like to try a flying boat in a bottle. The nice thing is that this model is one that I can bring with me and work on while I am away. At one stage I was contem, plating an airship in a bottle, but gave it up until I have a little more experience.

You certainly have a lot on your plate. It's hard to build when when
your work takes you to exotic places for long periods. And a seaplane in a
bottle? What an interesting concept. The thought of me putting a plane in
a bottle makes me think I would have a lot of empty bottles around but it
would be hard to build with my eyes crossed. :-)
