[WWI] Foiled by a Junkers

I'm detailing the interior of my Junkers Cl.I vacform kit. Of course, it
needs a corrugated surface interior, and I felt very smug when found that a
small toy from the "Bee Movie" merchadise had a piece that was perfect to
indent a corrugated surface on a piece of aluminium foil. So I made a sort
of wallpaper with this alu foil with
paralell lines in it, and tried to glue it to the interior of the fuselage
with a coat of varnish. It went OK but a few seconds after the damned pieces
of foil curled on themselves, refusing to be attached to the cockpit walls
even after careful prodding, a second coat of varnish and intense staring.
The paralell lines indented on it are part of the trouble, making the foil
to buckle.
What should I do? I mean, apart from ditching the damned kit.
D.
