They did, indeed. Both on Russian and German side. Some Finns got their 
flying training in the IRAS.

But the Finnish AF activities are more related to the Finnish Civil War, 
which is was fought in the spring of 1918, and in addition to the Finns, 
also Germans and Russians (Reds) took actively part in. Sort of 
side-show in the Russo-German fight for the sphere of influence around 
Baltic Sea. And therefore I think it should be considered as OT here.
