Steve,

    The biggest problem with the kit is its weight.  The booms are solid heavy plastic, there are three metal engines, two metal fuel tanks and the clay I added to the bottom before I realized that it was going to sit on its tail no matter how much weight I put in the cockpit section.  The wings are typical Meikraft heavy plastic that really should be replaced with vacuform wings.  I did that with his Albatros D.1 and the results were excellent.

    This kit was almost more than I had the skill to complete.  I had to put it down even though there are at least 5 to 10 more hours of work to bring the kit up to real aircraft status.  It will look good in the collection but I will never build another one for any reason or amount of money.
