If it happened... it's too late!
Good ways to avoid it is to use the thinnest masking material possible 
(Tamiya tape is OK) well burnished against the surface, and brush paint the 
edge with quite thinned paint, feathering the brushtrokes away from the edge 
of the mask. As soon as you finish painting the edge, carefully lift the 
masking tape as soon as you can, *before* the paint dries. The very process 
of drying will "soothe" the edge of the colour. Once this is dry, you can 
paint the inside of the colored area without the risk of leaving a wobbly 
edge. BTW always bursh towards the centre of the painted area, so to blend 
the already painted edges to the filling better.
