The DFW B.I exhibit shown in Windsock Vol.11, No.6 was in 1915 !
There is a painting of B.451/14 on display in the Musee de l'Armee in Paris on the cover, and a photo of the same subject on page 27.
                                                                            J.R. Boye

P.S. I'd like to find a model of this plane (1/72)

Gabe,

It is not a new exhibit. It was featured on the cover of a WINDSOCK approximately 10 years ago. It was an artist's rendition on a post card showing it on exhibit. There was a "black & white" photo in that issue of WINDSOCK showing the DFW B.1 on display in the museum. Perhaps the aircraft was removed from exhibit for restoration. That's all I know about it.

Is this a new plane at the museum? The only DFW I know of is at Krakow, a C1 there is also a B1 at Prague but it is a Aero built Hansa B1. Let me know right away about this aircraft.> Regards Toby> > > ---------------------------------> Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection.> Try the free Yahoo! Mail Beta.
