aiman,

well done my friend.  if you hand-carved that fuselage with its tricky 
side-panel twists as it goes from a square to a triangular 
cross-section, not to mention the tapered triple curve of the turtle 
deck, in my opinion that more than makes up for any painting disaster 
and decal difficulty. 

painting and decals can always be redone, and no one in their right mind 
enjoys that part of the hobby anyway (the shouts of indignation you will 
hear in response to this statement only prove what i'm sure you already 
suspected--that not very many of us are in our right minds on this list).

you have jumped in at the deep end of our strange sport, by going 
straight to scratch-building.  even when things don't turn out perfectly 
on your early attempts, you must recognize what good progress you are 
making by any measure, and take courage accordingly for your next attempt.
