      The Hannover Datafile shows the handpainted lozenges as larger and
irregular, in photos and in the profiles.
       All the plywood was handpainted - fuselage, lower tailplane ( not
elevator ) and center section of the upper wing.
       Even though the fuselage was overpainted, the lozenges were
commonly exposed near the tail.
