[WWI] Question, was Flyboys: Gotha Bomber Sequence

According to the story board at the Flyboys tent at the airshow I went to,
he was working on the engine, which was running badly.  Guessing at the clip
though, it looked like he was trying to get hot water from the radiator
overflow, perhaps to make some tea!  You know, it's good to have that
soothing cup on the way to the target...
