My first was when I was about 11. I had been given a book on building model aircraft, and the section on platic kits had numerosu ideas. The first kit that I tried to complete as accurately as possible was a 1/72 Airfix Swordfish. Thought I was so clever stretching the sprue, heating a fork to make 'bullet holes' etc. I was really proud of my effort. Now when Ilook at it, yeah, I am still proud of my effort, but it makes you realilse just how far you have come along. My first OT was again a 1/72 Airfix kit, this time the Sopwith Pup. Neither of these models have survived the years, but their remains exists in a trunk in my mothers house. I should get them out and redo them
