  Dear All,

Thanks for all the positive comments about the Rumpler Taube. To answer some queries; the wingspan is 11cm or 4 1/2 inches, no I do not have a shrinking machine nor am I insane. All the rigging is hot stretched sprue. It really is 1/144, not 1/72. For more, see http://wingsandwires,piczo.com and click on German Aircraft to see the Otto Doppledekker I made about the same time as the Taube.

There is also a new , SCRATCH BUILT 2, essay. It shows the basic techniques that I have used for most of my 1/144 scale models. By the way, my collection of 60 plus models fits on two small bookshelves in our living room. Who else can say that!

  Cheers,

  Joel

1/72 scale and all that rigging and other detail. I have a hard enough
time with 1/48 scale birds.
