  Hei,

With Peter M. Grosz have we lost probably the greatest researcher on German
WW1 aviation.

He was always willing to assist others in their research, when I got stuck
with identifying early WW1 aircraft in a photo album he took the time to
give me the neccessaary details and write a letter encouraging me to
continue my research and to feel free to ask him again.

I think the words gentleman and scholar are most suitable.

Lets hope his archives will be made available so that others can continue
his work.
With the recent loss of some of the greatest writers and researchers in
aviation history,
who are now going to produce the Datafiles for Windsock?
