[WWI] Albatros paint question.

Hi all - I am rather new to the W.W.I modeling experience, but I've decided to have a go at the Eduard 1/72 Albatros D.V kit.  Before I get too far along, I have a couple of painting questions for the experts here on the list.

1) I prefer to use Model Master enamels.  What would be the most correct paint (or paint mix) for the greenish/grayish color used on the metal parts of a D.V?  The kit instructions say F.S. 34227 Pale Green but I am not sure that is the right shade.  Also, is the actual color that was used known or only speculated at?

2) What would be the correct color for the engine & it's associated pipes?  The kit instructions say it had a black engine, brass intake pipes, and a rust colored exhaust.
