Good that you did not! The Mermaid Nieuport had no non-standart acces panels. Not on the port side at least. That is a mistake in Eduard's N17 in Russian Service kit instructions. Honestly speaking, I think the two tone cowling is also a mistake. I think it's the pper wing shadow done tricks with them...
