Over on the "other" WW I aviation place, there's a posting by Augie Blume and 
he says he spoke with Peter's widow, so, yeah, it's confirmed.
My awareness and appreciation of Peter goes back to at least spring '64 when 
I bought an Air Progress that had a long article he co-authored about the 
Pfalz company.
I never met him face to face, but the contact I had with him always led me to 
believe he was true gentleman.
