[WWI] Disaster Contest

Hence the saying:
"Three moves is as good as a fire."

I had Squadron In Action air books 1 thru 120,
Plus all the armor and ship titles to that time -
One move and they were never seen again... sigh...

Hi All;

Firstly, my cats are very well behaved and wouldnt dare go near my
modelling
desk or cabinet... Unfortunately occasionally one of their hairs
transfers
from them to me to my model... but usually not in any sort of terminal
way.
These days to prevent such happenings with wet paint , I put them (my
models!) into a large airtight box to dry.

Worst diasaster was when I moved house a while ago. Had the box full of
models packed in shredded newspaper open for some reason. Along comes
removalist and dumps smaller but heavier box on top of the open
model-filled
box. Nett result: My finished model collection reduced by 50%!

Mind you, these are the same removalists who, that afternoon (a) Fell
through a set of glass louvre windows; and (b) Whose truck's handbrake
failed leading to a half packed truck careering through a fence and into
a
tree.

It was a one sureal afternoon....

Cheers

Neil E
