May have missed out on the earlier discussions, but according to the guy at my local hobby shop SMO is the main reason that the latest Roden kits have gone up in price over 33%.  I was going to get the Fokker D.VII mid OAW kit, but at a list price of $26.99 (when the early OAW kit cost $19.99 last year) I think I'll modify my Eduard kits!  When I can get the 2 kit Eduard Fokker D.VII with full painted photoetched sets for $49.99 that makes the Eduard kits less than the new Roden kits!
Think SMO will definately loose some business if they keep up this foolishness.  And the poor customer service and website arre not helping either.
