Drawings for some of the K-boats are available from John Lambert
http://www.lambert-plans.com/ - I think these plans have the "swan" bow
which was added to improve buoyancy forward, but I'm sticking with the
original design - they were much better looking with the low bow IMO.

I once thought of putting a real steam plant in a working model until
someone pointed out that if the boat were to leak a combination of cold
water and hot boiler could simulate the effects of a small scale depth
charge really well. Not an unreasonable effect given the class's propensity
for mishaps, but rather a waste of modelling effort unless you're making
models for movies

~Hey, so you have the same obsession i have! I have read a little book about
~them and thought that they were so insanely designed that they may deserve
~to be modelled! Now, I'm still undecided if their hull looks better with or
~without the modifications in the prow.
