I have some wonderful pictures of the aircraft. The one that I intend to model is either of two that made their way to South Africa after the war.

For any-one who is interested, here is a small link that I found on the internet. I was inspired to build the model after seeing a painting by hmmm, his name has slipped my mind. I will have to look up his name when I get home. Anyway, it was this painting and the fact that I live close to Muizenberg that inspired me to build the model for display at our local museum. I have a few photographs that I have managed to find.
An interesting footnote to teh story of these aircraft is that the wings were rediscovered in the loft of an upholsterers shop. I believe that the wings will be on display at the airforce museum in Ysterplaat, but must check up on this.
As soon as I have her completed, I will put pictures of her up on the net.

IIRC there was a Profile Publication on the D.H.6 as well - but I can't
get at my books right now to confirm that. @#$%^&* house renovations...
