I have seven D.Is (and 10 D.IIs) on my profile CD, but so far they are the
older watercolours. One of these days I'll redo them as computer profiles.

Thanks to all who provided their insight on these books. That's the problem
I've been running into on the Phonix D.I -- not too much readily available
on markings. Most of the schemes I've seen are either the naval
red/white/red winged aircraft (the old Aircraft in Profile) or the one with
a skull and crossbones on it. I'd really like to find something different
if possible; but maybe there isn't much surviving documentation.

This is the one thing I like about going to the bookstore. You can page
through a book, and either buy it there or order it from another dealer. At
least you aren't buying it blind. The problem is, the stores in my area
don't stock a lot on WWI aircraft.

Think I'll forget about the A-H book, but will give some more thought to the
American Aces one. Have to look for the Datafile as well.

Paul
