[WWI] Opinions on Osprey Books

I don't have the American Aces, but the Austro-Hungarian is not the best
book in the series. The profiles are not accurate in many cases, and there
are a lot of opponent aircraft profiles mixed in, unlike most of the titles
in the series. There are some good pictures, but there could have been
less discussion of the opposing airforces and more on the K.u.K ones. The
descriptions of the profiles are incomplete, and the ones for the Phoenix
fighters are shown as solid color, not the dense dapple they were. The
extraordinary painted hex lozenge is barely discussed in the write-ups.
That said, the descriptions of the aces careers are not bad, if a little
boring and repetitive in tone.
