And to add insult to injury, you will often get dinged Provincial Sales
Tax as well!

I have got to agree with you - damn Canada Post to hell & back, with a
stop
over in Crapastan. Insane postage rates (at least for packages). And
for
us Canucks receiving parcels from the US, not only do we pay US postage,
but
the damn Canadian "customs" charges us a 7% GST tax and an additional $5
for
the honour of handling our packages - and often damaging the contents.
Bastards.
