Many thanks to Nigel for taking the pictures of my Lloyd and posting
them on the website and also for the kind comments from folk.

The turnbuclkes are etched items from the kit and when laid over the
wires and painted don't look too bad despite being two dimensional. An
extra blob of paint adds some dimension. The struts were covered in CDL
and show as quite pale in the photos I've seen though perhaps they would
appear slightly darker than flying surfaces so covered. I was really
pleased with the wood effect which consists of linen colour over sprayed
with patches of sand and tan then dry brushed brown and finally dark
almost black brown. Close observation of the family mahogany toilet seat
helped! Humbrol colours throughout which I get on best with but the
(humbrol) gloss varnish still remains tacky at the leading and trailing
edges when under pressure ie picking the model up. Does anyone else have
this problem(with humbrol)?

Hugh
