[WWI] Replacing ribs on wings

Hi Michael,
You mentioned the rib markings; I just use a normal number 11 balde and go from the leading edge to the trailing edge. I let up a liitle on the pressure as I get to the trailing edge so as not to cut right through. That's it. But do both sides of the blank or it will curl. As for the spacing; just do it according to whatever plan you are using.
Cheers,
Joel

Hi Joel:
I looked at your article and it looks excellent. I do a similar thing on
the underside of a vac wing using a #11 blade but it looks different to your
topside effect. Is it the scalpel blade that is the key or closeness of the
cuts for each rib station?
BTW, all this vac talk made me pull out the Rosemont RE5, which looks really
nice. Paul Fisher did a great job on that kit.
