Terry:

I agree with Tom.  From an investment viewpoint, these things are unlikely 
to bring much of a return.  If you like looking at the old kits in their box 
for pleasure, that's worth doing too.  It's always possible that some kit 
will become really valuable but good luck selecting that particular one for 
your investment portfolio.  Another example of a so-called valuable 
investment type was the Staaken vacuform by Contrail.  Now the Roden kit has 
been released, the Contrail's value is significantly diminished.

Kits are for enjoying, in my view.  If you're looking for investments, 
there's stocks, bonds, real estate etc.
