Uh oh - who called it "Frisco" ?
SAN FRANCISCO is indeed a spectacular city. The most popular city
in the U.S. to visit as a matter of fact. I love to visit it.
But I would hate to live there, because it is run by aliens
making it a haven for bums and vagrants ( I don't mean the creative kind
) while making it impossible for any legitimate business to afford to
stay.
This is a town who took their Albatros D.V off display at the De
Young museum and stashed it a storage room, about to sell it to a man who
intended to STAKE IT OUT EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS ON A PUBLIC BEACH !
Thank God Paul Garber saved it.
The old historic places are amazing. The Fort Point museum,
shore batteries, and Presidio are well worth a visit. There is even a
statue of Pershing in Golden Gate Park and a WW II submarine you can
sleep overnight on. But you better visit them soon before they are deemed
non- PC and removed.
J.R. Boye ( who lives a safe distance
from S.F. in Mountain View, but is going there tomorrow to hear his
daughter sing in an opera at the Legion of Honor, and who bought a swatch
of fabric from that Albatros D.V to hang on his wall )
