As I said it was an academic exercise - I need to find the reference so I
can bore you all to tears with detailed and wordy explanations that I barely
comprehend myself.
Much like the way that some equations in physics start to make sense when
you start adding extra dimensions to the four commonly used it may not have
a lot of immediate real world application.
