Thanks folks. I'm glad you like it, but it'll be a whil before the pain goes 
away again and I can like it. I'll once more emphasise that the problems are 
not with the kit but with the builder . Eric, the monofilament has already 
had the heat treatment as much as I dare. Now, according to temperature and 
humidity, it's either tight (which was how it was rigged to hold the lower 
wings up by pulling on the immovable anchor point ,being the cabane truss 
which I'd replaced with Strutz brass), or the outer landing wires go loose 
(but not the incidence wires, which puzzles me.   In the course of the day, 
with thunderstorms moving through the area, it'll cycle between states 
regularly. I fear that at some stage the monofilament will give up the ghost 
and snap or relax too far to come back.


Ho hum, 'tis but a model. I enjoyed building it anyway, right up to the 
point my innacuracies snowballed. And I enjoyed finishing it.
