[WWI] Acrylics in general

Listers,
        Since the 1,000+ plus e-mails from ya'll that I've saved over the
years are now nothing more than pieces of data-bytes I have to ask some
questions again that have been gone over already.
   I have some Citadel acrylics that have gotten somewhat thick with age,
and do not brush paint as well as they used to.  I would like to airbrush
these paints, but I recall Maj. Balzer having some issues with compatibility
with thinners.  When airbrushing Citadel paints, what do ya'll use th thin
them?  Alcohol? Future/Klear? Windex?
   I'm really enjoying my new Eduard Nieuport kit, it has kick-started my
model-building back into gear.  My only problem now is picking a scheme for
this first one, two dozen Nie.17 schemes come easily to mind right off.  ;)
