Dave Fleming writes:
I think ANY interpretation of the early 'OD' period Neiuports has to be viewed
against the more recent research and information.(for example in the Dorme
book, or the Lafayette one from Albatros)

Unfortunately, I haven't read any of that yet!!

Warren Dickinson writes:
Not to be a "me too", but I think that with the recent publication
of the Albatros book on the LE, and the book on Dorme' (which I
unfortunately do not have) whatever we have known about Nieuports during
this period may be turned on its ear.

OK guys, I've already confessed I'm obtuse and easily confused. I have the Chassard book on Rene Dorme et Joseph Guiguet. Is this the "Dorme" book you are referring to?
I also have the Albatros Productions "Nieuport Flyers of the Lafayette". If these are the books you are referring to, just what is it I should be looking for as concerns
Albert Ball's A-213?

TIA,
Mike
