Steve, 

    I was just admiring your Pfalz D.XV from the Nationals photos... superb job! I'd like to do a similar conversion to a Toko kit. I've read that there was a variant (perhaps called the D.XVf spezial?), that actually had an upper wing with rounded tips and no aileron balances. In your research, did you come across that type? I've exhausted all my sources, but still can't come up with a view of how those rounded upper wing tips might have looked. Any leads you might have would be appreciated. Thanks much, I will be thrilled if my conversion turns out half as nice as yours...
