Mike.

My question was that I'd like markings info on any of Solomon Joseph's Camels. He was with Naval 10/RAF 210 and a list of his kills/serial numbers of the machines reads:

1 07 May 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (B6228)
2 09 May 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (B6228)
3 14 May 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D3406)
4 21 May 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D3401)
5 06 Jun 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D3401)
6 06 Jun 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D3401)
7 09 Jun 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D7155)
8 26 Jun 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D9616)
9 29 Jun 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D9616)
10 30 Jul 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (F1405)
11 06 Aug 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D9615)
12 03 Sep 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D3374)
13 30 Oct 1918 210 Sopwith Camel (D3336)

Are there any decent photos of any of these aircraft that you can send me?

Thanks for looking!

Michael

  Michael,
I missed your original question and am responding to Knut Erik's reply. I have
Mike Westrop's "A History of No. 10 Squadron, Royal Naval Air Service" which gives
a brief history of his service and awards. I also have some other books which may
help. Please contact me offlist with your questions and I'll see what I can find.

  Mike
