Someone has an email filter program which modifies the message header to 
indicate the message may be spam -- ie, it contains certain words or phrases 
considered indicative of spam.

If this happens, one only has to correct the header before replying -- a 
good way to eliminate multiple Re's & other things also.

Evidently whoever has the filter program replied to another reply to his 
original reply because it now has two {  } .

The cure is about as bad as the disease, sometimes ....
