I don't think we ever got any of that particular Elk, although it
did meet it's maker later that autumn. Generally speaking
though elk is similar to beef, we had a really nice
elk-steak at my mother-in-laws this weekend. I hope
it was the one who ate my brussel-sprouts earlier.
