MoS Type N, Revell 1/72nd scale ( Richard Eaton ). "I finished it in aluminum dope with the controversial red nose. Almost everything about this kit is wrong from the fuselage to the Vickers. I rigged with invisible thread and finished with the French markings provided."
MoS Type N, Eduard 1/48th scale ( Paul Howard ). This kit was built almost straight from the box. I did a little work on the engine, thinned the flying surfaces and prop, and beefed up all of the photoetched struts with wood or plastic strip. I really enjoyed the kit, but I can't really speak about the accuracy, since the book on Morane "N"s wasn't out when I built it. The markings are from the kit and are for Jean Navarre's aircraft.
MoS Type I, Temeks 1/72nd scale ( Matt Bittner ). Brought into scale by thinning most parts. Scratchbuilt cockpit and some struts. The undercarriage struts are Rosemont replacements, after I supplied them with a master mold. For more information, see the build article at Internet Modeler.
MoS Type I, Flashback 1/48th scale ( Courtney Allen ). Although the markings have been depicted by may other modelers, I always wanted one in my collection. I found the photoetched hood supplied by Flashback not to be very accurate. The hood area had been modified in the field in an effort to provide a more protective windshield. To correct this and to better portray the field modifications made to the hood, I removed the upper hood and reformed the area with sheet plastic. The wings were also modified by adding a scalloped appearance to the trailing edge.
MoS Type I, Revell 1/72nd scale MoS Type N ( Steven Perry ). Revell kit corrected as per Ray Rimell article. For more information, visit Steven's build article on his site.
