Although the charges were withdrawn or dropped (owner of handbag hastily returned to Canada), reading the court papers throws new light on Hinch. There was also an enquiry that Lytham Police were making about the loss of some ladies jewelry, and wished to contact W G R H ! The Brigade General expresses a comment something similar to Mike's . I was more diplomatic when I said 'he was a bit of a lad' Perhaps Terry-Thomas summed him up 'an absolute rotter!'... seems to have been with the ladies at any rate ! This aspect of Hinch's character does not come out in 'The Airmen who would not die' and certainly his story would be worth hearing about. As Mike has already had an item involving Hinch published in the Sunday Times Magazine last year, and has clearly gone into a lot of reseach, I think he should be invited to submit an article for either the Website or journal Clearly it will be the subject of much discussion David _________________________________________________________________ Worried what your kids see online?
