Do you have a copy of the Country Life book on OTC, he might be in that, other than that he might be in the Lancashire Biographies book, which I think was also by Country Life c 1915/6 If you have not got these I will try to get my copies out of store this weekend Cheers David >From: H Giblin >Reply-To: cci@mustang.sr.unh.edu >To: Multiple recipients of list >Subject: [CCI] Re Hinchliffe >Date: Fri, 28 Feb 2003 04:58:35 -0500 (EST) > >David >His father, Richard George Hinchcliffe, living at 119 Bedford Street South, >is described as an 'Artist'. Wounded. DFC AFC (sic, perhaps?) But I meant does anybody know his school, rather than his Univ. I always start with the OTC book and he ain't in there, unfortuneately. Neither is he (nor his Dad) in Lancs bios. When, eventually, I get to the Liverpool Reference library, I will look to see if he got a write-up in the local press at the time of the award of his DFC.
