As an aside, and a bit off the subject, but I am always amazed how much detail you chaps can produce on an individual, how do you do it? I have assembled from various source names etc of pilots and observors who served in the squadron, but where do I find details of their previous and subsequent service records, assuming they left the Squadron in substantially one piece? I could of course be lazy and chuck a few names into the pot and sit back, but that would be lazy! But if i could just mention a couple of names of men killed, I would appreciate any assistance. Adams, Allan Percy. Captain DFC Killed 6/3/19 Not known buried Teheran Black, Maurice Adam. Major 11/2/17 Shot down over Hudove AW FK3 6196 Brandt, John Axel. Lt. 15/9/18 Shot Down, Ltn F. The RFC had similar units known as Tent Parties which were usually concerned with erecting Bessonneau hangars and Armstrong Huts.
