Very interested in the other pic you mention. I have a complete list of the British Civil Register up to the G-AGs and copies of A J Jackson's monumental books on the same subject, so will be very pleased to help you or any other correspondent with identifications. The ' Air 76', the London Gazette (promotions) and the LG for the annoucement of his MC (26 July 1918) all call him, 'Relf'. However, thanks for giving me the opportunity of correcting a potential error. A listing with potted histories and many photos of the G-Exxx register. For general reading: Cornwall Aviation Company, Ted Chapman, Glasney Press, 1979. Lot's on 'barnstorming' wirh 504's. All Weather Mac, W Cdr R H Macintosh, Macdonald, 1963. A must have for anyone interested, covers his aviation career from 1917 to the 1950's. One of the best reads going! Early Birds, Alfred Instone, 1938. Instone ran one of the pioneer airlines, pre-Imperial. There must be others, but that's about all my library runs to. Good Hunting! The original enquiry, I discover, comes from a BT so-called 'Fact of the Day'.
