Dear Michael!
Sorry????
Snow in the winter is, well, a proper thing, I say, especially in Central Europe. Continental climate, etc. Winter without the snow is grey, wet and ugly. And sometimes even colder than snowy one (at least subjectively).
Of course there is much more difficult to park a car, as a lot of snow blocks a lot of places, but everything has it's dark side (I've even heard about YOUR dark side - or twin).
;-)
Sorry, my posts are a bit more ot these days, but I live now with my girlfriend at her flat for some days, so I'm out of models and OT books. But I don't wat to lose contact with all of you.
Cheers!

It will not work in a vac-u-form machine. I don't remember the actual make up of the stuff, but it is not for vac molding. The sheets from Sig or K & S are vac-u-formable. Squadron's clear is designed for the smash molding methods described by others. With a little practice, you can become quite good at it, and get some nice parts. The key is, as mentioned, to have the master supported on a rod of some type, with the inside filled with a material that won't let the pard dis-form as you are pulling the soft plastic down around it. We got new cable-free mouses here at work (Logitech- highly recommended) and they were packed in very good plastic, I nicked all of that, it worked well. I think it's most important to get the plastic to the perfect temperature before smashing, free plastic means you can do many shots.
