IIRC, it seems that back before Omega came out with the Anatra DS Anasal, either Omega or HR Models had plans to do the Anade, don't remember which scale. Whoever the manufacturer, they were just starting and I'm sure their future plans were very tentative. The FMP IRAS book has three-view drawings of the Anatra D Anade by Ian Stair. Well, I don't know of Magoo was British (he was voiced by veteran actor Jim Backus), but I seem to recall what you are talking about. It would have certainly predated Scooby. But what I was saying was that the Fokker D.VII that the 'villain' flew was a rather accurate rendition of the type and looked like an early Fokker built machine. Event the rudder and 'N' struts were accurately rendered. Basically I just found it odd that in such a goofy show, someone took time to get one of the planes right. Must have been one of Bob Pearson's first jobs! BTW: yeah I remember Snidely Whiplash and Muttley. The planes in that show, though outrageous parodies, do remind me of Phoenix, Lohner, and Albatros B-types. Seems they should hold off on the little Dr.1, and perhaps go for a nice Camel, and of course the aforementioned Nieuport. Hmmm...maybe I'll have to pull out an Anasal and compare it to the drawings to see exactly what needs to be changed (besides the engine and cowl).
