Since I have it to hand, I am going to try good ol' Floquil Bright Silver on the fabric parts of my Nie.17, with a Krylon cowl. On the fence about the doped wood parts, which may be the Floquil color differently treated, or a gloss-aluminium color, flat-coated. Most-likely won't flat-coat the Krylon, since it is already a dull tone. We shall see, yes? :) Intend to give Polly Scale's color a whirl, in the future. Meant to ask, sooner - am I supposed to chop off that bit of lower wing that does not fit up into the fuselage cut out. This is not mentioned in the instructions, which also seem to show a bit of this extra plastic remaining. (I am assuming this kit shares wings with their Snipe, or some-such.) Also - given the vague instructions to this effect - should the interior be a steel color, since this was an "armored" fighter? And did this plane utilise tubular or wood longerons, &c?
