I departed from DURAS to a small degree by cutting all of the inner struts wires with clear stretched sprue. My admiration for anyone who cuts each piece of wire one at a time has just gone through the roof. I was a nervous wreck when it was all said and done. On slanted tape reinforcements (as I did on my recent Nieuport 28) I found more easy to decal one side at a time, wait until the small decal is dry and then flip over the strut and make the opposite side. On perpendicular tape reinforcements (yes those of the Spad!) winding the small decal tapes were easier, but you need a steady pulse and patience to try several times until you get it tight and in the required position, specially those near the strut ends.
