In two weeks I'll be entering my fourth month of unemployment, which is not a jovial start for this new year. My modeling efforts are on hold because I can't justify spending money on more paint, decals, etc., and are limited to what kits and few supplies I have on hand. I was working on the DML D.VIII, but I would have to use the old Aeromaster 4 color lozenge, and was afraid of negative comments. May have to hold this one again until better times--same for the 1/32 Nieuport (can't buy paint now). 2) I do have paint and everything else to finish my Lindberg Jenny/Canuck conversion, but it has bogged down with the holidays. I intend on finishing this up within the first months of 2003 and getting long-overdue new photos posted in the WWI gallery. > What I want for the world ... Ditto. Right, that does it, I definitely have to visit! Hope everyone is having a HNY. My wife is downstairs throwing-up. I'm trying to be sympathetic and get her moving so she can help me clear up from last night's party. The house looks a bit like the Mongol Hordes rode through. I'm slightly hung over - obviously, I'm not compus mentis yet - I couldn't understand why the garbage disposal had died. Got out the wrench and everything, until I realised I'd been switching on the outside light switch.:) On topic - the Mac Roland D.VIb progresseth well. About half the rib tapes are done and it's looking OK. Definitely a kit worth building - very straightforward for a biplane. I said "On topic" but it'll be done in a Czechoslovakian scheme - "White 2". Michael _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8.
